Birds are vertebrates that have lungs, two wings, two legs, and a beak.  

Birds are the only animals that have feathers.

Birds lay eggs that have hard outer-shells. They can lay 1 to 17 eggs at a time.


Birds ears aren't visible, but are holes instead. What other animals have holes for ears?

Birds are warm-blooded. What does it mean to be warm-blooded? What other animals are warm-blooded?
